Rated Zed

The last (and only previous) time I saw Brock Zeman was when he performed at Zaphod's with Michael Ball of Ball and Chain and a few other experienced hands. He sounded quite a bit like Steve Earle then, and he sounds even more like Earle now, which made him an ideal act since Earle was, in fact, ending the evening on the Subway Stage.

Mind you, Brock's a lot less hairy than Earle.

The ever-busy Zeman's next Ottawa date is at Irene's October 3, following a tour out West.
