Girl talk

DeVotchKa make me think of Peterborough's Silver Hearts, but with less drinking and fewer members. Both bands have Sousaphone and Theremin. While the Silver Hearts have a carnival, revival tent feel, DeVotchKa call themselves gypsy cabaret and started their existence accompanying burlesque acts and touring with corset queen Dita Von Teese.

Jeanie Schroeder handles the low end, starting with some double bass.
