I checked out the second night of Skreedlemania last month at the House of Targ. In addition to local legends such as The Stand Gt and The Banditas, there were local stalwarts in Rex Heck and The Sir John A Macdonalds, with Outtacontroller also making the trip from Halifax. First up, Rex Heck, who I also caught a few weeks before at Targ. Here's Danny.

It's been a while since I saw The Sir John A Macdonaldsc- they were to have played a gig at Irene's in January, but an illness meant frontman and garage rock lifer Patrick Shanks played a solo set instead. The various members are healthy again, so here's a non-solo Patrick.

The Banditas were up next; I saw them quite a bit around the time I was starting up National Capital Rock. They haven't quite stopped, but their shows are fairly infrequent these days. Anyway, they still burn the place up. Here's Liz.
