Monday night a few days after Christmas is not usual the ideal time for show-going, but the holidays always mean a few people head home. That means that Allie of The White Wires was back in town and a performance was duly convened (she'll also be back in April for a Peach Kelli Pop show as part of a tour behind her upcoming third LP). Pregnancy Scares kicked things off.
First, Craig has to get in the proper mood.
Davey frets!
Running about!
The bendy bit!
Extra Craig!
David hits!
Craig's ghost has a heart attack, or something!
Emmanuel is under there somewhere.
Extra David!
Ceiling-scraping action!
Singalong action!
Shouty crowd action!
More bending!
Guitar-tossing action!
All the members of First Base wanted was a nice quiet evening of listening to the White Wires and Pregnancy Scares, but Ian insisted they get up and play a song, which they did.
Percussive action!
On to The White Wires, who rocked the house just like the good old days (i.e. this summer at the Ottawa Explosion).
The whole lot!
Allie hits!
Luke handles the low end.
Crowded action!
Extra Allie!
More shouty action!
Even more Allie!
Ian strums.
Fisheye action!
The end!
Happy New Year!
