He's in the bands

The headliner for this evening of (mostly) Ramones-inspired pop-punkery was Dan Vapid & The Cheats. Vapid has been playing in punk bands since he was 15, with stints in Screeching Weasel, The Methadones, The Mopes, The Riverdales and The Queers, among others. His New Outfit, Dan Vapid & The Cheats, has gotten off to a strong start, and showed plenty of punch (down second guitarist Simon Lamb for this show).
