Lower the lighting and unleash the fuzz pedals as Estonian dream pop outfit Pia Fraus landed at House of Targ with long-running Hamilton distortion overlords Sianspheric and Toronto's Tijuana Taxi on hand for support. Tijuana Taxi started things off. Despite the name, they are not a Herb Alpert cover band. Here's drummer Ryan!

I was surprised to hear that SIANspheric were still in action. I knew they had broken up, then reunited a few years ago, but they've been keeping what seems like a low profile since collaborating with Swervedriver offshoot Toshack Highway and releasing Writing The Future In Letters of Fire in 2016. Anyway, they're still kicking out the jams, as you can see from this pic of Sean.
