Thursday I popped over to House of Targ to check out Toronto's Mad Ones. I'd heard some of their stuff online and liked it; as a bonus local combos Ornaments and Mushy Gushy were opening. Ornaments were on first and played a sharp set. Here's some rhythm section action with Kevin and Jay!

Mad Ones started out as a duo, with well-known Toronto singer-songwriter Andy DeVillers out front and Adam Balsam on drums. They've expanded to a trio with Russ Fernandes of Shikasta and Mercy Now fame on bass and released a new album at the start of November. Here's Andy!
