I don't get out on Thursdays (or any other workday much) these days, but since my part in a big afterschool project is done and I don't have to worry about dozing off over a table saw I figured I would risk a sojourn to Luneta Cafe for an evening of Special Noise, Dead Weights, Camp Radio and touring Brooklynites Swearin'. Unfortunately I dragged my feet getting out to Bronson Ave. and missed Special Noise. Too bad, they were very entertaining when I caught them at 443 Kent back when I could stay up late. At least I managed to get in the door in time to see all of Dead Weights' patented whiskeypunk action
Hair-tossing action from Jonathan!
.
Steve hits!
The shouty bit with other Steve!
Jonathan sings, Derek admires the ceiling!
Bonus Derek and Jonathan!
Floppy bangs action!
Singalong action!
Camp Radio took the floor for a knockout set.
Singalong action with Scott and Dave!
Guitar action with Chris!
Scott in Nirvana action!
More singalong action! Hmm, not sure Scotch tape is the ideal for microphone stand fixing ...
Gripping action!
Fiery action!
Swearin' finished things off nicely with a hot set for the packed house. Here's Allison and Kyle!
Bass action with Keith!
Gripping action!
Extra Kyle!
Jeff hits!
And finally a bit more Allison.
That's it because I had to boot it home for some sleep.
