Things to do March 12

My goodness, there's a lot of "Young" bands out there. We have (or had) Young Stalin here in Ottawa, and I've seen Young & Sexy, Young Rival, Young Husbands and oh yes, Young Galaxy, who are performing at Mavericks tonight. Will there be lasers? One can only hope.

Bravestation and Loon Choir are also on the bill. A little earlier in the evening upstairs at Cafe DeKcuf you'll find The Rebel Spell, Machine Gun Dolly, Wooka Tribe and RawRawRiot. The Midnyte Revival, The Annoyers, Dionysos and Doug Hell are performing at Zaphod's; The Hammerheads are at the Rainbow; The Jesse Green band performs at Irene's, Rocket Rached and The Fat City Eight hold forth at The Elmdale. 2x The Mono and Beth Moore perform at the Avant Garde Bar.
