Feline feedback

I went over to 443 Kent St. on October 8, 2009, with a mixture of anticipation and fear. Anticipation because this was my first real opportunity to use the sync cord I finally got around to purchasing, and fear because being stuck in a small room with The Girlfriends always makes me think of the time Wolfgang bashed me on the knee with his guitar while he was tussling with Nigel. As for the openers Vincat, I was expecting some poppy psychedelica. As it turns out, the Victoria trio's music is much freakier, and features more feedback than their acoustic online videos would suggest.

Kristian North in a state of extreme freakiness.

Unfortunately drummer Danny Costello left in December, putting the band in a state of indefinite hiatus.
