Drummer Dan Scanlan can see you. He played this show with a busted foot, and was the subject of much teasing from the band members and a roadie who worked the light show like he was playing pinball as if his life depended on it.
Guitarist Will Fiore rocks the Flying V.
Freaky rhythm section action with bassist Brent Anderson.
Brent stoops to conquer.
He does like his microphone a bit lower than the usual crod.
Hair-shaking action!
Falling over action! (He did not stop playing.)
There goes another drumstick.
Four fingers ... of doom!
Light-show action!
Brent certainly dished out for the Moogs ... he's got the Moog-iest pedalboard of any bassist I've seen.
More rhythm section action!
And a less blurry version.
Will sings!
Bass-lifting action!
Brent finished things off by asking "If you have anything illegal, meet us later."
- Show reminder: The Pocket Trio play Club SAW; Immaculate Machine, New Teeth, Organ Eyes and The Zolas perform at Mavericks; Dancehall Free For All and The Big Bend play Zaphod's. The lovely Kate Maki plays Raw Sugar. The Dead Letters perform at the Avant-Garde. Lynne Hanson and Emily Fennel are at Irene's. The Drew Nelson band play the Elmdale House.
