Right in the feels

The same Friday night I was checking out a bevy of Canadian headbangers at House of Targ, I also popped into Black Squirrel Books to catch what I could of the Property/Empty Nesters/Lo Siento show. Unfortunately I missed everything except the set by Newfoundland's Lo Siento, which is fronted by Pepa Chan, a Buenos Aires visual artist who moved to Vancouver, got picked up by a ska band from the Rock while hitchhiking to Winnipeg and consequently moved to St. John's - as one does. The band was in town, touring on behalf of their new album, Brujas. Here's Pepa, singing in Spanish as is her wont.
