There were plenty of places I could have been last night, but after running around all of yesterday I felt more like hitting up a show close to home, and The Steve Adamyk Band's record release show - for
Third, on the redoubtable Dirt Nap label - fit the bill nicely, thank you. Mind, you, I'd go a fair distance to see either act in this Ottawa Explosion promoted set.
First up, their frequent partners in crime, Sonic Avenues. This Montreal quartet always puts on a dynamite show.
These guys sure like their Rickenbachers. Seb also serves as the SAB's bassist.
And here's Adamyk and Co. They were sounding heavier than ever on this occasion.
