Jam out the kicks

A while back I bought a ticket to see French Kicks. No, it wasn't because I had confused them with French Toast. I knew very little about them, except for some vague chatter about them being another dancey, pop New York City band. I'd say they sounded a bit like Interpol, if Interpol tried to sound pretty. I hear tell they've toured with The Walkmen, which strikes me as an appropriate fit.



Unfortunately I completely missed the opening act, Sound Team, because I had completely forgotten that Mod Night shows at Babylon start and end early. More pictures of those Kicks to come in a week or so.
